I-70 I-70 Sign Renovation 04/30/2012 06/28/2013 Construction Project Notes: This project is located on Interstate 70 between the Ohio and Pennsylvania state lines. The work consists of removing and replacing all signage and installing a new lighting system for the signs. Traffic will be maintained at all times, however lane closures and ramp closures will be in effect at times. Separate news releases will be issued before the closures. The Contractor is currently placing ridged conduit and "U" shaped channel posts for the installation of new signs and lighting. The project is 21% complete. The project was awarded to Nationwide Construction Group, RMD Holdings of Chesterfield, Michigan at a cost of $3,978,224.88. The plan completion date is June 28, 2013.
