Notes: Work is set to begin on the six-lane widening of I64 between Exit 11 and Exit 15. The work will consist of adding an additional lane on the median side of the roadway, installing a median concrete barrier as well as replacing the Cedar Crest Bridge with a new six-lane structure. The contractor is scheduled to begin work on March 11, 2013. The contractor is required to maintain two-lane traffic in east and westbound directions at all times between the hours of 5am and 7pm. The contractor is permitted to have a lane closure in both directions, as needed, during the hours of 7pm to 5am. Work zone speed limit through the area will be reduced to 50 MPH. Project completion date is set for September 28, 2014.
