New Traffic Pattern on Short Road Near Kearneysville

8/7/2017

BURLINGTON – The West Virginia Division of Highways announces that the existing traffic pattern at the intersection of Berkeley County Route 9/19 Connector (Short Road) and the newly constructed Van Meter Road has been modified for construction purposes.

Prior to the construction of the relocated Van Meter Road, a three-way stop was being utilized at the existing intersection. Traffic will now flow unobstructed on CR 9/19 Connector (Short Road), with a traditional stop sign remaining to control traffic turning from Van Meter Road onto CR 9/19 Connector (Short Road).

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution though the active work zone, as final paving and striping operations are in the process of being completed.
