REVISED: I-70 Eastbound Lane & Ramp Closures for Bridge Repair

Ohio County – The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that repair work on the First Bridge East of Tunnel Bridge located on eastbound I-70 at milepost 1.23 will not occur on The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that repair work on the First Bridge East of Tunnel Bridge located on eastbound I-70 at milepost 1.23 will not occur on Thursday, March 16 and Friday, March 17, as previously announced.

 

Repair work will resume on Monday, March 20, 2017 and is now expected to conclude on Friday, March 31, 2017. During this revised time period, lane closures will occur on I-70 Eastbound from Exit 1A to Exit 1 and the Market Street on-ramp to I-70 Eastbound will be closed. These closures will occur from Monday at 8:00 am through Friday at 4:00 pm.

 

Motorists should reduce speed and expect delays in this area. Market Street on-ramp to I-70 East motorists are advised to travel South on Main Street, East on 16th Street to US-250 North to I-70 East.

 

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

These closures will occur from Monday at 8:00 am through Friday at 4:00 pm.
