The West Virginia Division of
Highways advises that on Thursday, October 20, 2016 through Friday, October 21,
2016, bridge maintenance crews will be performing maintenance east of the I-70
Wheeling Tunnels. Lane closures will occur on I-70 Eastbound from Exit 1A to Exit
1, and the Market Street on-ramp to I-70 Eastbound and the I-70 off-ramp to
Southbound US-250 will be closed. These closures will occur during daylight
hours.
Motorists are advised that
portable rumble strips will be utilized to reduce traffic speeds through the work
zone.
Motorists should reduce speed
and expect delays in this area. Market Street on-ramp to I-70 East motorists
are advised to travel east on US-40 onto I-70 Eastbound. I-70 off-ramp to
Southbound US-250 motorists are advised to travel east on I-70 to Exit 2A, west
on US-40, west on I-70 onto southbound US-250.

unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
