Wood County – West Virginia Division of
Highways announces that one lane across the Parkersburg - Belpre Bridge on WV
618 eastbound, will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 5, 2017 to facilitate
deck repair, according to Keeling Fife, District Three Bridge Engineer.
The eastbound lane closure across the bridge will be in effect between 8:00
a.m. and 4:00 p.m., each day Monday through Friday until all repairs are complete. The estimated completion date is September
15, 2017.
No
delays are expected, but motorists are encouraged to slow down, use caution,
and follow the direction of all traffic control devices while traveling through
the work zone.
Additionally,
motorists should be reminded that any inclement weather or unforeseen
circumstances could change the repair schedule.
