Original Terrain and Topography
When required, the consultant must submit all original survey data, in both a raw and edited form (free of errors). In addition the processed data will be submitted in the following three forms;

1. ASCII point data consisting of two files, one containing regular points and another containing break points. File format will conform to one found in appendix A.

2. A MicroStation 3-D design file (version 5.0 >) with all points and lines at their proper location and elevations. The file must also conform to all drawing standards defined in the WVDOT Roadway Design CADD standards.

3. A Intergraph InRoads compatible digital terrain model (.dtm) file of the project site.

Right of Way Information
When required, the consultant must submit all Right of Way information in a MicroStation .dgn file format. Data shall be submitted in real world coordinates. All information in the design file(s) shall be placed in accordance to the CADD conventions established by the WVDOT
Right of Way Division and specified in the WVDOT Roadway Design CADD standards.

Final Design Information
The following three elements are necessary to ensure an accurate proposal.

1. Final Design Represented by Cross Section in a Station-Offset-Elevation (SOE) ASCII Format.
A cross section shall be defined as a line perpendicular to an alignment that represents the final design. The points on the cross section string shall be organized from left to right and shall include points at all breakpoints, edges of pavement, centerline and other points necessary to properly model the cross section. Each cross section will be properly identified as to which alignment it belongs to. For file format see Appendix A.

2. Final Design in InRoads .alg format.
When required, the consultant must submit all design information in InRoads Alignment (.alg) files.

3. Original, Design and Final Design Digital Terrain Models in InRoads .dtm Format.
When required, the consultant must submit digital terrain models of the project in an InRoads .dtm format. At a minimum three digital terrain models must be submitted, they are;

Original Ground - This is digital terrain model of the existing site.
Design - This is a digital terrain model of the proposed design.
Final - This is the final merged design surface.

All Bid Package Plan Sheets in MicroStation .dgn Format
When required, the consultant must submit all plan sheets and details in a MicroStation .dgn format (NO EXCEPTIONS). All information in the plan sheets shall be placed in accordance to the CADD conventions specified in the WVDOT Roadway Design CADD standards. It is the consultant's responsibility to make sure that all information contained in the plan sheets is correct and accurate.

Bridge Plans and Details in MicroStation .dgn Format
When required, the consultant must submit all bridge plans and details in a MicroStation .dgn format ( NO EXCEPTIONS). All information in the plan sheets shall be placed in accordance to the CADD conventions specified in the WVDOT Roadway Design CADD standards. It is the consultant's responsibility to make sure that all information contained in the plan sheets is correct and accurate.

All Project Special Provisions in a WordPerfect or Microsoft Word Format
When required, the consultant must submit all specifications, special provisions, and project notes in a WordPerfect or Microsoft Word format. The WVDOT project engineer will determine the format used.

Photogrammetry
Please contact the Photogrammetry Section of the Roadway Design Division at 302-558-2888 for additional information on the following items.

1. 9"x9" contact prints (control)
2. Film diapositives.
3. Control point report.
4. Sheeted mylars with index sheet
5. All data files on floppies or 8mm UNIX tape
