Data Catalog
The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) supports free data exchange with other organizations and the general public.
The WVDOT data catalog is a centralized site for the WVDOT to distribute geospatial transportation data maintained by the GIS unit. The geospatial transportation data here is published as zip files in ESRI shapefile format. If you do not have GIS software, you can download a free utility from ESRI to view the data. The spatial reference for the data is Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), Zone 17, and North American Datum (NAD) 83. Complete metadata is forthcoming.
